This is Halloween!

Happy Halloween! Much like the rest of this month today was filled with festivities. This morning was our party at school and this evening was Trick-or-Treating. This afternoon was nice and Hubby and my mom were able to come see the kids in their parade.

The weather this evening was horrible and so we walked in the wind and rain to my aunt's house a few streets over and then walked back. The only really decent picture I got of Trick-or-Treating was the one that was taken before we headed out.

Trunk-Or-Treat

This evening was "Trunk-or-Treat" at our church. We headed over right before it began and jumped into line. There were a ton of people set up in the parking lot with their trunks decorated and candy to hand out to the kids.
I couldn't find Froggie's costume in the rush out the door so I snagged Big Brother's costume from his first Halloween and a bow and Froggie went as a monkey. Big Brother and Froggie had fun and got LOTS of treats!

Zoo Boo Part 2

Thanks to the graciousness of one of my co-workers we were able to return to Zoo Boo this evening. There was no rain and it was a pretty standard fall evening. We got there a little earlier than we had last week and were able to make it through the zoo in about an hour and a half. We didn't ride the carousel or train tonight though which is probably why it didn't take us as long.

Finally got that picture of the kids

Meet Jack

Tonight, after a rough dinner and grocery shopping, we brought in one of our pumpkins to transform it. This was Froggie's first Jack-O-Lantern ever and the first that Big Brother actually helped to carve. It was a lot of fun even though Big Brother stayed up past his bed time to work on it.
We never seem to have enough hours in the day during the month of October so we figured if we didn't carve him today we would never do it.
Big Brother helped scoop him out and carve his face and Froggie even played with some of the insides (she tried to eat it a few times too)
. We were going to try carving something other than your standard pumpkin face into it but Big Brother said he wanted a face. Without further ado, here are some pictures!
