So I have been blogging with less frequency to avoid letting some good news slip before it was official. Hubby had been waiting (for months) to hear about the status of the package he had submitted to return to active duty as a recruiter. Recently we got a call asking if he still wanted orders and then there was an issue with the legibility of one of his forms (if you know hubby you shouldn't be surprised). Things had to be authorized and resubmitted, uniforms had to go to the dry cleaners and get new patches, and ribbon/medal boards had to be updated.
After a lot of hurry up and wait the orders came through! Hubby will be returning to active duty as a recruiter and will be reporting this week! It is an exciting new direction for our lives and with the exception of a long stint away for school Hubby will be able to be around for family events and important milestones as Froggie and Big Brother grow up. More to follow in the future!
