Breakfast Date

     Before my friend headed back to North Carolina after the holidays we had a breakfast date at Starbucks. The kids had a blast and it was nice to be out and about with everyone.

What Has Zippy Been Up To?

     Here are some of the things that Zippy has been up to over the last month. I figured this was a decent farewell for him since he will be returning to the North pole with Santa tonight. 

A Good Day for a Nap

     We had a heat wave come in over night and woke up to rain and melting snow. The sky is gray and its just a gross day. Froggie decided it would be a good day to lay on the floor since she was tired. At some point this morning my boss sent me this picture.

New Crochet Project

I'm going to kind of leave you in suspense here and just post my materials until its completed. In addition to this it uses black, white, yellow and blue yarn. Any guesses?

Christmas Program

     Today was the kids' school Christmas program. Families were invited and we did it during the day rather than in the evening. Honestly, for Froggie and I it was pretty easy since we just sat on stage while another adult sang. My one-year-olds did a great job on stage and Froggie liked her bell as well. Once the little kids were done with their songs everyone was asked to watch a video retelling of the Christmas story featuring the 2-4 year olds. After the video the kids showed off their hard work and sang a few Christmas songs that they worked hard to learn. 

     When all was said and done we sand "Happy Birthday" to Jesus and had birthday cake!

Army vs. Navy Game Day

Yesterday was the Army vs. Navy football game. I was very impressed that the game began in prayer AND that portion of the game was televised! We're a Navy family all the way (I mean, come on Hubby is a Navy recruiter…) and Big Brother showed his support!
